The Pirelli World Challenge announced a contest offering the opportunity to throw the green flag on one of the PWC doubleheader races next week in the Grand Prix of Virginia presented by Audi Sport April 28-29 at Virginia International Raceway.

A race fan and a friend will receive two weekend race tickets to VIR in his season-opening race weekend when that fan shoots a quick social video and post it to Twitter or Instagram by Monday, April 24.

Race fans will be asked to tell why they should be picked for the unique honor of throwing the “Green Flag” in either a Saturday or Sunday’s Pirelli World Challenge race from the starter’s stand on the front straightaway at the famed 3.27-mile, 17-turn permanent road racing circuit near Danville, Va.

Here are the rules for the video contest:

1. Shoot a quick social video and post to Twitter or Instagram by 6 p.m., PDT, Monday, April 24.
2. Include the appropriate handles – @WCRacing on Twitter, @pirelliwc on Instagram and Hashtag #PWCVIR for PWC to find your posts.
3. We’ll announce the winner on April 25th on social handles !!

The winner of the best video on Twitter or Instagram will receive two weekend race passes for the Grand Prix of Virginia presented by Audi Sport as well as the chance to throw the green flag for one of the Pirelli World Challenge feature races on Saturday or Sunday.
